Celebrating our Sixth Year on the GovTech 100: Innovations in Civic Tech

GovTech 100 2021

Today, coUrbanize was named to Government Technology’s GovTech 100 list for 2021. We’re honored to be included alongside incredible and innovative teams solving problems in state and local government for the sixth consecutive year.

We’re excited to be recognized because it reflects the ongoing work we’re doing on diverse projects with cities and towns across the country: a Transit-Oriented Development Plan in Manchester, NH; Harris County, TX Parks & Trails Plan; and the Westborough, MA Affordable Housing Trust. This year, we’ve worked from coast to coast with everyone from city planners and town councils to independent consultants and regional authorities.

2020 was a pivotal year for GovTech, largely because technology became ingrained in local government when traditional methods weren’t an option due to COVID. The technologies that enhance our work and our lives became more powerful and more essential than ever before.

In 2020, we made major changes to help our customers adapt and with a stronger-than-ever commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in the engagement process. coUrbanize lets towns and cities engage their residents and give them the opportunity to shape how their communities grow without having to attend public meetings – and in their native language.

The members of the 2021 GovTech 100 list are transforming how local governments operate, and we’re so excited to see what our team and our peers can accomplish this year! We’re looking forward to a better and healthier year for the communities in which we work.
